A verb which isn't a state or stative verb is called a dynamic verb, and is usually an action. Often stative verbs are about liking or disliking something, or about a mental state, not about
an action.
Some words can be both state and dynamic, for instance:
I have a car (state) / I'm having a party (dynamic)
I see her walking down the street , I see what you mean (state) / I've been seeing my boyfriend for three years (dynamic)
