Gebruik je als je het hebt over iets dat in de toekomst wat een langere tijd zal duren óf die op een specifieke tijd gaat gebeuren. 

Gebruik je om het te hebben over iets wat zich in de toekomst zal afronden. 

Future perfect 

By this time the next year, I will have completed my diploma in computer science.

Wanneer gebruik je de future perfect?

Gebruik je om het te hebben over iets wat zich in de toekomst zal afronden. 

Ezelsbruggetje: Als iets perfect is, is het compleet en hoeft er niets meer aan gedaan te worden. Het is afgerond.

In the future, environmental scientists will be studying the effect of AI on kids. 

Wanneer gebruik je de future continuous?

Je gebruikt de future continuous als je het hebt over iets dat in de toekomst wat een langere tijd zal duren óf die op een specifieke tijd gaat gebeuren. 

Ezelsbruggetje: Continue betekent gaat door. Het gaat langer door.
