  • You place your own laptop on the tables in the front
  • You make sure that at least your torso is visible so I can see your facial expressions, hand gestures and potential movements 
  • Before you start you show your speech cards to me
  • You have 3 minutes for your speech (between 2.5 and 3.5)
  • I ask two students to ask questions
  • Use rubric when preparing!

Lightning and sound are important 
Highly episodic - action takes place in a variety of places
The audience is often remembered that they are witnessing a theatre production rather than real life
Little set is used and few props to save time 
The audience is expected to use their imagination  
Acting is physical - action conveys a sense of place, atmosphere, time, event
