CAE Speaking

You will be paired (groups of two)

The CAE exam has Four parts:

1.  Interview (1 min per person)

2. Long turn picture describing (1 minute + 30 sec)

3. Discussion (1.30 min each)

4. Further discussion about point 3 (2 min each)

Speaking Part 1-People

• What makes a good friend? …… (Why?)

• How do you like to spend time with your friends?

• Who has had the greatest influence on your life? …… (Why?)

• Which teacher will you always remember? …… (Why?)

Speaking part 1- Where you live

 What would attract you to live in a certain place? …… (Why?)

• What places of interest are there where you live?

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of living abroad for a short time?

• If you could live in another country, where would you choose? …… (Why?) 

(CAE) Speaking - part 2

• In speaking - part 2  you will be asked to choose two photos from a set of three
  
• You will be asked to talk about and compare these photos (1 minute)
• Important: Don't just describe what you see but hypothesise about the photos and look for comparisons between them.
