Discuss these Q's with a neigbor:
1: What's the difference between a stative and dynamic verb? 
2: Give two example sentences: one with state & one with dynamic.

Verbs in English can be classified into two categories: stative verbs and dynamic verbs. Dynamic verbs (sometimes referred to as "action verbs") usually describe actions we can take, or things that happen; stative verbs usually refer to a state or condition which is not changing or likely to change.

State verbs are words that describe states (nothing happens).

Dynamic verbs are words that describe actions (something happens)

I am working tonight.
Emily cooks dinner every day
Ms. Wildeman takes the train to work.

Nothing happens = Present Simple

I like to read books. 
Remember that one time we went on vacation.
Something happens = Present Simple or Continious

She is being silly right now.

Some Verbs can be both stative and dynamic.

= State (unchanged)

I am thinking about it right now
= dynamic (change/in the moment but not later)
