REMEMBER THIS
Present Continuous consists of TWO parts:
1. am/are/is
2. -ing form
To form the -ing form:
Add -ing to the verb
If the verb ends in -e, drop -e (make→making)

If the verb ends  with a short vowel + a consonant, double the last letter:

fit → fitting
chop → chopping
