A lot of, lots of, much en many betekenen allemaal veel.

• A lot of/lots of: ontelbaar en telbaar
  I have a lot of money. / I have lots of of friends.
• Much: ontelbaar
  I don't have much time left!
• Many: telbaar
  I have many pets at home, three cats and a parrot.

(a) little, (a) few

Little en few betekenen allebei weinig. Je gebruikt little bij niet-telbare woorden en few bij telbare woorden.

• Little: ontelbaar
  There was little time to finish my homework.
  Can you give me a little (een beetje) help?
  
  
• Few: telbaar
  He has few photos on his Instagram.

When to use which one?

Some/any = wat/enkele/een paar

Some	- normale zinnen - bij vragen waar je "ja" antwoord verwacht	- I bought some pencils. - Would you like some more tea?
Any	- ontkennende zinnen (not/never) - vraagzinnen	- I haven't got any friends. - Do you know any of these people?
