So, Halloween?
With your neighbour, discuss for/against:
  1. This holiday is commercialised and should therefore not be celebrated.
  2. There is an important history to Halloween and it should reflect that more (explain how), otherwise it is disrespectful.
One of you will be in favour of the statement and the other against. You may have to play "the devil's advocate"!

Who's v.s. Whose
Who’s vs. Whose
  • Who’s is a contraction, meaning it’s two words stuck together. The formula: who + is, or who + has.
- For example: who’s seen a cryptid?
  • Whose is a possessive pronoun. Use it when you’re asking (or telling) whom something belongs to.
