Liquid regulation

When travelling with handluggage the passenger must take the 

liquid regulation into account (liquids, creams and gels)

Liquid regulation:

• Liquids, creams and gels must come in a package with a maximum of 100 ml
• The packed liquids, gels en creams must come in a transparant and resealable plastic bag of 20x20 cm
• The maximum content of the plastic bag is 1 liter 
• Maximum of 1 plastic bag per person.

* A bottle of water in the handluggage is allowed again

Exceptions:

1. Fluid medication, diet- and babyfood required for the duration of the flight (recipe or medical document must be shown)
2. Taxfree shopping items bought on the day of departure and packed and sealed in a bag by the taxfree shop

Your role as a PGSA in liquid regulation:

During check-in:

• Answer the passengers' questions about liquids 
• NEVER accept liquids that are not allowed (passenger needs to throw  it away themselves!)

You are able to check in passengers in a friendly, quick and efficient way:

1. What does full service check-in entail / steps 
2. Booking confirmations / E-tickets
3. Travel documents
4. Check-in baggage
5. Dangerous goods

Let's work together:

• Form 6 groups
• Each group tells something about (a part of) the 4 themes
• Each group makes a presentation
• All material of that (part of the) theme must be covered

1. Theme 1: Full service check-in and roadmap (steps)
2. Theme 2, part 1: E-tickets and booking confirmations
3. Theme 2, part 2: Travel documents
4. Theme 3: Check-in baggage
5. Theme 4: Dangerous goods
6. Theme 5: Liquids and prohibited items

Presentations:

• Divide the tasks
• Use Word, PowerPoint or Prezi (you may use the digi-whiteboard)
• Take turns presenting
• Preparation: 30 minutes
• Presentation lasts 5-10 minutes
• Also listen carefully to the presentation of your classmates!
