Zero conditional

If clause (condition) + Main clause (result)

First conditional - likely to happen

First conditional

You have study hard. (= if-clause; condition clause)

You pass the exam. (= result-clause)

If you study hard, you will pass the exam.

We take care of animals. (= if-clause; condition clause)

Animals will not go extinct. (= result-clause)

Animals will not go extinct if we take care of them.

How do you form the first conditional?

1. 'if' + present simple + will/won't + hele werkwoord
2. 'if' + past simple + would/wouldn't + hele werkwoord
3. 'if' + present simple + past simple
4. 'if' + past simple + present simple

First conditional:
