A few reminders:

- months and dates start with capital letters

- use ordinal numbers (rangtelwoorden) in date notation 

- correct notation: 

   day of the week - the - day of the month - of - month   OR

   day of the week - month - the -  day of the month

Wanneer gebruik je to be going to + hele werkwoord? Let op: er zijn meerdere antwoorden goed.

1. wanneer iets zeker zal gaan gebeuren

Je gebruikt to be going to om aan te geven wat iemand van plan is of wat zeker zal gaan gebeuren. 

Vervoeging:

• De meeste meervouden eindigen op een -s
  
• Een zelfstandig naamwoord dat eindigt op een s-klank (-sh, -ch, -x, -s, -zz): +es. E.g. watch - watches
  
• Een zelfstandig naamwoord dat eindigt op een medeklinker en een y: y wordt i + es. E.g. lady - ladies
  
• Een zelfstandig naamwoord dat eindigt op een f of fe: + ves. E.g. scarf - scarves

Hoe zit het dan met onregelmatige zelfstandig naamwoorden?

Onregelmatig houdt in dat iets afwijkt van de regel. In dit geval volgen de zelfstandig naamwoorden dus niet de spellingsregels die hiervoor genoemd zijn. Onregelmatige zn's hebben een eigen vorm en moet je dus leren!

 

E.g. tooth - teeth, foot - feet, goose - geese, man - men, woman - women, child - children, mouse - mice.
