While listening to pitches: please think what questions you would like the group members to answer  

Speaking 

Some of you already have a job.

Discuss in pairs/groups of three: 

- Did you write a motivation letter?

-  How did you go about writing it?

You don't have a job at the moment? Discuss your dream job. 

English please!

I'll ask you what you've shared with your neighbour.

Motivation letter with flaws...

Work in pairs/groups of three (I'll tell you who you are going to work with) and discuss how you can improve the letter. Write down the corrections.

I will ask you to guide me through the revisions. 

What happens after the recruiter has decided that your CV and your motivation letter stands out from the crowd?

Formal expressions put into practice...

Act out the job interview dialogue. First with your neighbour, than search for another working partner to have another dialogue. Use the cues:

Recruiter: ask/age/school/graduation date/place of living

Candidate: say/age/school/graduation date/place of living

Pay careful attention to formal expressions (Could you please...?, I was wondering...?, etc.) 

We are going to watch a video showing people coming to a job interview. Watch the video carefully and individually write down (in English) all the dos and don'ts...

Vocabulary practice (Guess the word)

Two students come to the front and stand with their back against the whiteboard.  

Teacher displays a word on the screen.

Classmates describe the word in English for the student to guess.
