Gap-fill texts

How to:

1. Read the sentences before and after the gap. 
2. Think of an answer: what should be filled in here? 
3. Choose the answer that best resembles your initial answer. 
4. Check if the word/phrase logically fits the text.

No clue what the correct answer is? Delete all the answers that make no sense. 

Which word fits the gap?

1. dependence
2. fascination
3. indifference
4. irritation

Statements

Mark the part where you can find the answer. 

Mark any and all keywords that you need.
For example:
- Names, places

- Numbers, quantities, times

For example:
For statement 1, we could mark/note 'too warm', 'nowadays'

Look for linking words! They are usually placed near the answer. 

Statement: The African coastal region is too warm for penguins nowadays.

FYI: The text in general is about penguins in Africa.

Citing a text

- Read the instruction!

   "Citeer de eerste twee woorden van de zin waarin ..."
    = For example: "The main" 

   "Citeer de eerste en de laatste twee woorden van de zin ..."
   = For example: "The main ... be resolved."
