You can prove if a fact is true or not

It does not have to be true for it to be a fact

McDonalds sells burgers for $1

Opinions

Opinions are not true or false, it is what someone thinks about something

You cannot prove an opinion

McDonalds burgers are cheap

Broccoli is gross 

These jars are heavy

Grass is purple

50% of cars are blue

Pigs can fly
