Present Continuous

It is used to indicate that something is going on right now or someone is doing something right now.

Ing=3 letters=3 steps

am/is/are + verb + -ing

Present Continuous

* lose the -e- when the verbs ends in an -e-

* with short verbs of one syllable with a short vowel (a, e, i, o, u)

like stop, sit, run, chat, double the consonant to keep the sound.

Examples: I am running, he is chatting, they are sitting.
