Strategies/ Strategieën
  • Recycling: Use the information from the assignment instructions
  • Using the preparation task: Make use of the mind map that you made earlier
  • Looking up words: Look up words, not entire sentences
  • Writing goals and audience: Think about what you want to do with your text. Write short sentences and focus on clear structure and simple language.

  • Write an email to a family member you haven’t seen in a while. Tell them what’s been happening in your life, share your plans for the upcoming holiday, and ask if they’d like to spend time together during the break

  • Instructions:
Update them on any recent events in your life (school, work, hobbies).
Mention your holiday plans, be specific (travel, family gatherings, etc.).
Invite them to do something together, like having dinner or going on a trip.
