We use some and any with countable and uncountable nouns

we use some --- with countable and uncountable in affirmative sentences

Example : I’m going to buy some bread

He has got some oranges

There is some milk in the fridge

we use "any" in negative and question sentences

Example: Is there any apple in the fridge?

I haven't got any paper

There is not any ice cream on the table
