How to make the Past simple
Regular verbs:
base form + ed
Irregular verbs:
unique form
Negative and interrogative sentences:
did/didn't + base form
Examples:
- He saw the Eiffel Tower last year
- Did you play a soccer game last weekend?

Present perfect
Present Perfect describes an action or event that is permanent or long-lasting (It was completed in the past but still has an effect on the present).
Often words like
: since, for hours, in weeks.

How to make the Present perfect
Two verbs:
Have/has + past participle
Past participle:
Regular verbs end in -ed
Irregular verbs:
