- Always bring your laptop, workbook and notebook to class

- Always bring a novel to class

Exercise 1: Upload an image to give us a general idea of who you are and tell us a bit about you.

Discuss planner period 1

Go to Peppels

Term 1: address chapter 1 + 1 grammar part of chapter 2

2 test per term that both count equal

1st test will be on vocabulary + reading

2nd test will be on grammar + stones

1st test will take place in week 37!

A look through the book

Take your books in front of you

Go to page 12 & 13

Two Truths and a Lie

- Prepare 3 statements about yourself; two truths, and one lie. (3 min)

You will do this assignments in groups of three

- One of you shares their 3 statements with the others.

- Try and determine which one is the lie!

- Switch roles when you've figured it out.

Be prepared to share with the whole class!

Time: 5 minutes

2 Truths & 1 Lie

Example

- I can talk in 5 different languages

- Once, I fell asleep in a train and woke up way too late, so I missed the stop I'd to get off the train.

- I can play four different instruments

Which one is a lie, you think?
