Someone shot Robert Kennedy in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968. Robert was John F. Kennedy’s brother. He died in a hospital in Los Angeles. He wanted to be the new president of the United States.

Sirhan Sirhan said that he hated Israel. Robert Kennedy was a friend of the Israelis. So, Sirhan Sirhan hated him.

I  think Sirhan Sirhan killed Robert Kennedy. I know this, because an FBI agent

arrested Sirhan with a gun in his hand. A newspaper reporter also recorded

the shooting on audio tape. Sirhan killed Robert Kennedy, because he hated

him. This was in Sirhan’s diary. Robert Kennedy was a friend of Israel and

Sirhan hated Israel.

• Het is begonnen en gestopt in de verleden tijd.
• Er staat een tijdsbepaling in van verleden tijd. Bijv. yesterday, this morning, three years ago, etc.
