It was a normal Monday morning at school, and Laura walked into the building, already feeling tired. She saw her friends, Marielle, Lotte, Esther, and Noa, standing by the lockers, talking and laughing. Jasper, one of the most handsome students in their class, walked by, and Laura felt her heart skip a beat. It seemed like every girl was in love with the boys in their class, and Laura had a secret crush on Jasper.

"Ugh, we have so much homework," Noa complained, pulling her books out of her bag.

"I know, it’s so boring," Lotte added. "School is just sitting in class, doing boring stuff, and then going home with even more work."

"I agree," Marielle said, sighing. "I don’t even want to think about it."

I don’t mind the homework," Esther said, always the serious one. "It keeps me busy. Plus, we don’t have much else to do."

Chanelle, full of energy as always, bounced over to the group. "Let’s do something fun after school! Maybe get ice cream?"

"That sounds perfect," Laura said, still thinking about Jasper. "I need something fun today."

The day went by slowly, with lessons and homework piling up. But there were always fun moments, like when Jasper smiled at her during class or when they all laughed at lunch about Lotte’s jokes.

At the end of the day, they all walked out of the school together. School could be boring, and the homework was much, but with her friends and small moments of fun, Laura knew it wasn’t all bad.
