- A comedian called Tosh made fun of it, saying "Song writing isn't for everyone", which made people check out the song and video - and then the hate went viral

- People sent the singer (a 13 year old girl) death threats and comments like 

"I hope you get an eating disorder so you'll be pretty" 

- The song got so many downvotes that the music label took it off YouTube, but the singer re-uploaded it herself 

- The singer has since campaigned against cyberbullying

- The song eventually became a meme and has even been featured in certain shows.
