What is a Letter of Introduction?

A letter in which you introduce yourself to a prospective employer, a networking contact or a potential new client

• to formally introduce yourself to someone
• to explain what you have to offer

In this case: a letter in which you introduce yourself to your English teacher

Structure of the letter

• Paragraph 1: state the purpose of your letter
