On your own
  • Review family signs (go back to the last lesson up)
  • Create a family tree in your ASL notebook on a cartoon or tv show family (examples: Mondern Family, The Simpsons, Lilo and Stitch) if you can't find a family member make one up, try to use as much of the vocabulary that you can. You will do this with a partner.

  • You will create this with a partner
  • Using past vocabulary, create a family tree based on a movie, tv-show, etc.  (examples: Modern Family, The Simpsons, Lilo and Stitch) if you can't find a family member make one up, try to use as much of the vocabulary that you can 
  • Be creative, use the template on Schoology, turn it in when you are done
  • Practice signing your family tree with your partner, I'll pull sticks for partners to show the class (sign their name and their relationship)
  • Go up to grandparents
