1A Connect the verb with the phrases. Give example. Ss work alone, then check in pairs. ANSWERS: 2 get up 3 live 4 have 5 study 6 go 7 teach 8 play.
1B Demonstrate with one Ss. Work in pairs. Ss A hide task 1A.
1C Give example and elicit ideas for other questions. Work in pairs. Finish ask a few Ss to share anything interesting they found out about their partner.
2A Give example (explain 'in common'). Work in pairs. With weaker classes, you could write some prompts on the board to help e.g. age? where / live? interests? job? etc.
2B Work in pairs. Share answers in class.
2C Set timer 3 minutes. It's okay if they don’t understand every word. 2D Play the recording (dyslexia) Ss check answers.
