Suppose you had NO CLUE HOW to do it.

Then you should Study the Theory on the previous page! In the 

next slides you see this and an Example.

Take from your bag:

- Textbook + Notebook

- pencil + pen

- Compasses + Geo

Think about question41b, below!

In the next slide there's the answer to this question.

Answer:

Because we don't know the ANGLES!

Because we don't know any angles, we have to use our COMPASSES, and the GEO too, of course.

By the way, you have already been working with the COMPASSES in a similar situation.

Just look at exercise 16, next slide!

In order to find out where the ship in trouble cloud be, we drew 

two CIRCLES with our COMPASSES. The points of intersection where the places the ship could be! See next slide.

In a similar way as in the Map you just saw, we will make a triangle 

when only the three LENGTHS and NO ANGLES are given!  

Let's Study the Theory of §4.6 CONSTRUCTING ANGLES now!
