Before we start with the unit...

1. Create a new folder in your Dutch B folder with the name : Unit 2 - Wonen in Nederland

2. Make sure there is already 1 Google Document in the folder:

1. Speaking exercise: Differences between living in The Netherlands and your home country or a country of choice.

Speaking exercise: Living in The Netherlands/Belgium

1. Think of 3 differences between living in The Netherlands/Belgium and living in your country of choice. For example: Houses, streets, surroundings, nature, transport,...

2. Create a slide for every difference and add 2 pictures (Netherlands + country of choice) to every slide (3 slides in total)

3. Prepare a short presentation in Dutch in which you can explain what you see on the pictures and what the difference is. 

4. Use a comparative for each slide!

Nederlanders zijn lang 

--> Nederlanders zijn langer dan Italianen 

"ER" als plaats in een zin

The comparative: kleiner dan, groter dan

Omar is kleiner dan Lena.

Cristian is groter dan Khushi 

--> Comparative: adjective + er 

Pay attention:

- Sometimes the spelling changes: groot - groter / snel - sneller

- If the adjective ends on -r, we add -der: duur - duurder / ver - verder

- There are irregular forms: goed - beter / graag - liever / veel - meer /

 dikwijls - vaker / weinig - minder
