Goal: At the end of this LessonUp you will know whether you can tell the time in English.  

What's the difference with Dutch?

12 uur 's middags > noon > It's noon. (Daarom: afternoon)

12 uur 's nachts >  midnight > It's midnight.

a.m. = van 12 uur 's nachts tot 12 uur 's middags

p.m. = van 12 uur 's middags tot 12 uur 's nachts (tip: a komt voor p in het alfabet > a.m. is voor de middag)
