• At the end of this class, you will have a better understanding of the Irish accent (hopefully). 
• At the end of this class, you will have taken a look at your Shakespeare SO's.

Wat is de kern van het conflict?

1. Het is een identiteitskwestie. Je hebt twee kampen die dicht op elkaar wonen met een elk een sterke identiteit die vervolgens botst.
2. Het is puur haat tussen Katholieken en Protestanten.
3. Een meningsverschil over het jaar 1916 en wat er herdacht wordt.

•  Balthasar = Portia verkleed als één van haar bedienden. Ze neemt deze naam aan in de rechtzaal. Nerissa = Stephano. 1 punt voor iedereen omdat deze vraag niet duidelijk was. 1 bonuspunt als je Portia hebt opgeschreven.
• Veel fouten gemaakt in het niet volledig beantwoorden van vragen die tweeledig zijn -> Jessica: why and how 
• Read the quote  from the MV. Answer the question at the end AND explain what Shylock is trying to make clear.
