How to improve this short story?

Ann and Bob went on a camping holiday with their mom and dad and set up their tent in a big forest. After setting up the tent they went on an adventure through the forest with their mom and dad trying to find squirrels. They saw a squirrel in the trees and both ran to look. When they looked back they could not see their parents. It was getting dark and they were still lost and starting to get tired, so they sat down at a tree and fell asleep. Suddenly they woke up and there was a moose in front of their faces. The moose said "hello, my name is Chocolate". Ann and Bob got scared and ran as fast as they can. At last they got back at the camp site, where they rejoined with mom and dad.
