It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear. She (1. put/puts) on her make-up and (2. brush/brushes) her long blonde hair. And then she (3. ask/asks) me,
Do I (4. look/looks) all right? And I say,
"Yes, you (5. look/looks) wonderful tonight".
We (6. go/goes) to a party and everyone turns to see this beautiful lady that's walking around with me. And then she (7. ask/asks) me, Do you (8. feel/feels) all right? And I say,
"Yes, I (9. feel/feels) wonderful tonight".
I (10. feel/feels) wonderful because
I (11. see/sees), the love light in your eyes,
and the wonder of it all, is that you just don't realize how much I love you.
It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head.
So I (12. give/gives) her the car keys and
she (13. help/helps) me to bed.
And then I (14. tell/tells) her,
as I (15. turn out/turns out) the light.
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight".
