At the end of the lesson you will be able to introduce a project, brainstorm cities and landmarks, and use basic vocabulary and sentence structures for a presentation.

Slide 4: Research and Preparation for the Presentation

• Onderzoek de Stad: Zoek informatie over de stad, met de focus op bezienswaardigheden, historie, cultuur, en belangrijke feiten.
• Verzamel Basisinformatie: Noteer de naam van de stad, de locatie, bekende bezienswaardigheden, en een paar interessante feiten die je hebt gevonden.

Slide 5: Introduction of the I-Speak Game

In ons spel begin je met het gooien van een dobbelsteen om te zien hoeveel stappen je mag zetten. 

Daarna kies je een kaartje en beslis je of je een makkelijke of moeilijke uitdaging wilt aangaan. Jij en je partner beslissen wie er eerst gaat praten. Als je klaar bent met praten, zeg je "I-speak" en dan is het de beurt aan je partner. 

Afhankelijk van de moeilijkheid van de taak kun je punten verdienen door binnen 30 seconden de vraag te beantwoorden. We kunnen dit spel snel spelen, waarbij we tot 20 tellen, of iets langer, tot 30. 

Dit spel helpt je om beter en met meer vertrouwen in het Engels te praten.

"I like ..." - Om je voorkeuren uit te drukken.

"I want ..." - Als je iets nodig hebt of verlangt.

Beantwoord eerst de vragen in het Nederlands, welke woorden gebruik je? Gebruik de Oxford Dictionary online om ze te vertalen naar het Nederlands. 

Slide 8: Unexpected presentation 

Je krijgt 20 minuten de tijd om een presentatie van 2 minuten voor te bereiden over je favoriete of droom vakantiebestemming.

 Je mag powerpoint of Canva gebruiken.

 Je presentatie moet in het Engels.

Participate in a peer feedback session to provide constructive criticism and suggestions.
