• De present simple gebruik je om te praten over feiten, gewoonten en over iets wat regelmatig gebeurt. 
• Bij he/she/it komt er een s achter het werkwoord.

to see - She sees

to walk - He walks

to happen - It happens

Bij he/she/it komt er dus een s achter het werkwoord.

Dit noemen we ook wel: de SHIT-regel

She, He & IT krijgen een S

Present simple (=tegenwoordige tijd)(p.53)

Eindigt het ww op -y, dan wordt deze vervangen 

door -ies.

to carry - he carries

to worry - she worries

Present simple (=tegenwoordige tijd)(p.53)

Staat er voor de -y een a, e, i, o of u, dan voeg je alleen s toe.

to buy - she buys

to play - he plays
