Used reading strategies to:

• Activate prior knowledge
• Find information in a text
• Answer questions about a text

Reading strategies:

1. Take a look at the title, headings and pictures ----> activate prior knowledge (what, who, where, etc.)
2. Read the question and answers. 
3. Scan the text for the answer. (specific information)

Kind of questions:

• Open question: short but complete ("kort maar bondig")
• Alinea-numbers in question = read whole alinea
• Multiple-choice = scan alinea/text for an answer.
