What do you think of when you read the term Britishness?

Which things (objects, places, traditions, etc.) are
regarded as typically Dutch? Do you feel any
affinity (= natural liking) with these?

In the article, author Jack Self mentions problems
within British society and how he sometimes
feels ashamed of British identity. What do you
expect him to mention?

What Dutch 'injustices' spring to mind when you think of the following: housing - work - equality - distribution of wealth - racism - political elitism - colonial legacy - nationalism - privatisation. Choose 1 and explain in your own words.

What sort of behaviour, situation, or practice makes you feel ashamed or really angry of your fellow Dutchmen?
