Slide 9 - Video

Writing a dialogue
We all remember Riley's first date and the fearful reaction of Dad (or was it disgust?).
Write down a short dialogue with your classmate between Jordan (Riley's date) and Dad. This time the emotion of Dad isn't Fear or Disgust, but it is Joy. When thinking of your dialogue, picture the scene of them sitting at the kitchen table (awkward!).
You will watch the clip next.

  • Use " " quotation marks
  • Popular verbs: play, talk, yell, whisper, ask, tell, want, explain or refuse. You can look up verbs on your device, if needed.
