Direct and indirect speech

In NL: 

Roodkapje: Ik ga naar mijn grootmoeder in het bos. 

Roodkapje zei dat ze naar haar grootmoeder in het bos ging. 

Direct and indirect speech

In English:

Spiderman: I can't go to Germany, I have homework!

Spiderman said he couldn't go to Germany because he had homework. 

So what to know: 

From direct - indirect = always a step back in time. 

Indirect - direct = always a step foward in time. 

Direct usually has '  :  '

Indirect is usually a normal sentence. 

Practise: 

Do ex. 50 (p. 168) together if you want. 

Then do ex. 51a + b
