Simple past of past continuous?? 

Jullie moeten in een zin de juiste werkwoordsvorm gaan invullen. Je zult hiervoor goed naar de betekenis van de zin moeten kijken.

1. in de zin staan er twee acties; het ene was al bezig en werd onderbroken door het andere (past continuous + simple past)
   I was doing my homework, when my father came home. 
2. in de zin staan twee acties; beide waren tegelijkertijd een tijdje in het verleden bezig (past continuous + past continuous) 
   While I was doing my homework, my parents were watching the news. 
3. in de zin staan twee acties; beide zijn afgesloten en vonden na elkaar plaats (simple past + simple past) 
   First I watched the news and then I did my homework.
