• At the end of today's class you can tell something about what you and your neighbour are wearing using plurals and demonstrative pronouns. 

Plurals

• Algemene regel: + -s
• Woorden op een sis-klank: + -es
• Woorden die eindigen op een medeklinker en -y: -ies
• Woorden die eindigen op -f of -fe: -ves 

5. Woorden die eindigen op -ff

• Cliff, handcuff, earmuff
• Regel: + -s
• Cliffs, handcuffs, earmuffs 

6. Woorden die eindigen op -o

• Video, hero, tomato, potato, photo
• Regel: meestal een -s, maar soms -es. Woorden die eindigen op een klinker +  -o krijgen altijd een -s achter het woord.

7. Onregelmatige meervoudsvorm

• Sommige woorden hebben een onregelmatige meervoudsvorm:
• Child -- children, person -- people, man -- men, woman -- women, mouse -- mice, tooth -- teeth, goose -- geese, foot -- feet 

8. Woorden waar je alleen het meervoud van gebruikt
