Present Perfect

- Use the present perfect for actions which started in the past and are still happening now.

- Use the present perfect for finished actions which have a connection to the present.
- use the present perfect with an unfinished time word
Past Simple

- Use the past simple for actions and events that happened in the past and are finished.

-Use the past simple for finished actions which have NO connection to the present.
- Use the past simple with a finished time word
