Present Continuous

• It is happing right now or around now!
  
• You have to use the verb to be + verb+ ing (example: is walking)
  
• When you make a question you put the verb to be in the beginning of the sentence. (example: Is he walking to school right now?) 
  

Present Simple

• You use it to talk about schedules, habits and facts. 
  
• You have to use the verb + (e)s (he walks) 
  
• When you make a question you use do/does and the verb does not change! (Example: Does he walk to school everyday?)
