You can write a personal email to describe a person

Discuss these Q's with a neigbor:

1: What's an adjective? Give an example. 

2: How would you describe your personality only using a few words?

Putting adjectives in the correct order

1. trainers / Nike / new

2. a / cotton / shirt / patterned

3. jeans / blue / fashionable / skinny

4. leather / high-heeled / black / boots

5. a / striped / jumper / big / woollen

Write 1-2 sentences describing one of these ladies' clothes

Read the email from Maggie and complete the writing focus, p 12

Think about one of the ladies from earlier.
Write a 'first impressions' sentence & mention their age

Two sentences describing their personality / interests

Describe what the person looks like and their clothes.

Practice and create

Complete ex 10 - a friend is going to visit the city where your cousin/best friend/classmate lives. 

Describe the person to your cousin/friend/classmate: appearance, personality, interests, & thank them for agreeing to show them around.
