Reading strategies: 
Skimming – Reading quickly to get a general overview of the text (photos, headings, opening/closing sentences of paragraphs, previewing book).
Scanning – Reading quickly a text for important facts (key words, bold printed words/italics).
Close reading – Focusing on what the author has to say, the author’s purpose, searching for accurate information.
Predicting – To envision what will come next in the text, based on prior knowledge.

In chapter 61, Christopher talks about the process and his ideas of death. Write in your own words, in at least ten words, about what you think of his ideas.
