Comparatives and superlatives
Comparatives and superlatives are ways to compare things or say that something is the most of something.
- We use -er/-est for one or two syllable words.
- Example: She is smarter than her sister.
- We use more/most for two or more syllable words.
- Example: She is more intelligent than her sister.
Exemptions: Bad/worse/worst; good/better/bestTip: We use ''the'' before superlatives and ''than'' for comparatives.
