The dog asked the wolf "why won't you come with me? I live in a house with food and owners."

1. The wolf went with the joyful dog to his beautiful home. 

2.  The wolf noticed that the dog had thin hair around his neck and asked

"Why is there no hair around your neck?" 

3. "Oh, that's nothing. My sweet owners keep me on a long leash."

The wolf walks away.

4. "Nevermind, thank you." the starving wolf replied. "I rather am a free wolf. Your easy life is not for me."
