Trappen van Vergelijking

Wanneer je iets vergelijkt met iets anders, bijvoorbeeld als iets of iemand groter of sneller of leuker of mooier is, dan noemen we dat de vergrotende trap.

Als we dingen vergelijken en iets is het aller mooist of grootst of leukst, dan noemen we dit de overtreffende trap.

Om in het Engels te kunnen vergelijken, is het belangrijk om de lettergrepen te tellen van een woord.
Wat zijn lettergrepen?

Noem een Engels woord van 1 lettergreep.

Vergrotende Trap:

This dog is smaller than that one.

That dog is the smallest dog ever.

Overtreffende Trap:

"WOORD" + ER
