Verleden tijd

Twee soorten zijn nu belangrijk:

1. Past Simple (verleden tijd);
2. Past Continuous (duurvorm verleden tijd).

Beiden gebruik je als je het hebt over iets wat eerder (in het verleden) gebeurd is.

Verleden tijd: Past Simple

Ga naar pagina 8 & 10 in je taakboekje.

Lees mee over de Past Simple.

Stam + ed / onregelmatige ww (tweede rijtje)

Walk --> walked

Work --> worked

Verleden tijd: Past continuous

Ga naar pagina 11 & 12 in je taakboekje.

De past continuous gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets een tijdje duurde (in het verleden). Voorbeeld?

We were singing when Patrick arrived.

Verleden tijd: Past continuous

Hoe maak je de Past Continuous?

Heel makkelijk:

Was / were + ww + ing

We were singing when Patrick arrived.

I was running to the bus when I tripped.

Finish postcard

Use the criteria on the front of your folder.
