Which technique?
Slice: Defined colour. good for adding depth and definition. Will give a striped effect unless teased. Good to use on curly hair

Babylight: Soft blended highlights

Slide 4 - Tekstslide

Tip outs
Tip outs is a technique where you tease the hair left out between highlights and apply lightener to the ends to add extra definition. Can create a balayage look to the end result

Tap:
A root tap slightly softens foil lines and keeps grow out soft
SMUDGE:
For clients who want a soft, lived in root look. 
MELT:
deep root look, high contrast

1 shade lighter than clients base
SMUDGE:
1 shade lighter/same depth
MELT:
Same depth/1 shade darker
(for extra contrast, you can drop 2 shades darker)
