What is Media Literacy?

Media literacy is the safe and smart use of all available media to increase your own quality of life and to ensure that you can participate optimally in the world around you.

It covers everything related to new media, social media, internet, smartphones, tablets and how to deal with them.

We use this definition: 'Media literacy is the set of competences you need to be able to actively and consciously participate in the media society'.
