oculair = een ooglens, vergroot 10x

tubus = houder van het oculair

revolver = draaibaar magazijn voor de objectieven

objectief = lens in de revolver. Vergroot 4x, 10x en 40x

tafel = hierop ligt het preparaat

statief = hieraan houd je de microscoop vast bij vervoeren

stelschroef = hiermee stel je het beeld scherp. Er is een grote stelschroef en een fijne stelschroef.

lamp = lichtbron

diafragma = hiermee regel je de hoeveelheid licht

voet = hierop staat de microscoop
